We are proud to be a participant of the Climate Neutral Now Initiative and Partnership with the UN Race to Zero global campaign. The Climate Neutral Now Initiative is one of several initiatives launched by the UNFCCC to increase climate action. It was launched in 2015 to promote the voluntary use of carbon market mechanisms. Since then it has evolved and become a much wider tool for awareness, engagement and commitment.
This initiative encourages and supports organisations and other interested stakeholders to act now in order to achieve a climate neutral world by 2050 as enshrined in the Paris Agreement.
The Race To Zero is a global campaign to rally leadership and support from businesses, cities, regions, investors for a healthy, resilient, zero carbon recovery that prevents future threats, creates decent jobs, and unlocks inclusive, sustainable growth.
The objective is to build momentum around the shift to a decarbonised economy ahead of COP26, where governments must strengthen their contributions to the Paris Agreement. This will send governments a resounding signal that business, cities, regions and investors are united in meeting the Paris goals and creating a more inclusive and resilient economy.
